In the treatment of drinking water, domestic water, ozone has the proven ability to turn organic refractory materials into biodegradable matter.
Although ozone is only partially soluble in water, it is sufficiently soluble and stable that its oxidising and disinfecting properties can be fully utilized.
Ozone can create drinking water or residual water with low concentrations of organic compounds at a much lower cost than any individual process.
